Resource Consent Applications

GPF prepares our clients’ resource consent applications
in a way that reduces overall risk for the client as much as possible.
Our Environmental Effects Assessments are robust reducing the need
for further information and our consultation processes are comprehensive
and efficient. This leads to cost effective and time effective

of the applications and greatly enhances the chance of a positive
outcome for our clients.

Selected Project Profiles:
Port Nelson Limited: Main Wharf South Extension & Noise Variation
Full environmental investigations, comprehensive consultation process, and preparation
of resource consent applications for the extension of the Main Wharf South at
Port Nelson involving the extension of the wharf and an adjacent reclamation.
An additional segment of the project involved the consultation for and preparation
of a variation to the Nelson Resource Management Plan so that Port Nelson can
operate within adequate but practical noise limits.
Pacifica Seafoods Limited: Mussel shell landfill
Site selection, feasibility study, full consultation process, and preparation
of all resource consent applications for a new large mussel shell landfill. The
project involved the identification and testing of a unique pre-treatment process
which rendered the shells without odour and suitable for disposal in a clean
fill site. A full AEE, incorporating groundwater, traffic, landscape, and odour
studies, identified the effects of the landfill and consent was granted following
a significant hearing process.
Tekapo Snowfields Limited: Resource Consents & Concessions for
heliskiing
Full AEE’s and Department of Conservation Concession applications were
prepared for heliskiing operations on several mountain ranges near Tekapo.
